Established in 1982, Country Butcher has built a time honored tradition of providing customers with only the finest quality meats: fresh cuts, locally raised, grass fed, & grain finished beef.
Originally a small high-quality butcher shop, Country Butcher has transformed over the years into a unique gourmet Old World European Style Food Market to meet the growing demands of their customers. All meats are cut fresh daily on the premises. Our beef is only the very finest: locally raised, all natural, grass fed/grain finished beef. Our poultry is all natural and locally raised. Our Lamb, Pork and Veal are also locally raised and delivered fresh.
Country Butcher is proud to feature over 21 types of store made Artisan Sausages including Cinnamon apple breakfast sausage and our family heirloom sausages from 1800’s recipes. Homemade Meatballs, beef and chicken kabobs, thick Butcher’s cut Filet Mignon, NY Strips, and Porterhouse steaks; and our signature 8 oz Kennett Square Burgers.
We complete the Meat Case with 25 fresh custom cuts of beef, lamb, veal, and pork; smoked hams, thick cut slab bacon, local scrapple, stuffed pork roasts and chops, plus a wide variety of over 20 different exotic meats such as Bison, Squab, local rabbit, pheasant and much more.
